PROJECT SCOPE & ENGAGEMENT

The City of Coral Gables along with town planning and urban design consultants Dover, Kohl & Partners are leading an effort to reimagine Biltmore Way! The scope of this project includes all of Biltmore Way from Anderson Road to Le Jeune Road, as well as Andalusia Avenue from Hernando Street to Ponce de Leon Boulevard. Today, Biltmore Way is a major link between western residential neighborhoods and downtown Coral Gables, in addition to being the home of City Hall. The existing street accommodates four lanes of vehicular travel with angled on-street parking on both sides.

This project will involve developing several preliminary design concepts for the corridor that help to address the community’s concerns. These alternatives will be presented to residents and stakeholders at a number of design workshops. Once community feedback is incorporated into the designs, a larger public meeting will also be held to share the team’s progress. Check the events page regularly and sign-up for email alerts to stay up-to-date!
